Accessibility statement
Last reviewed April 27, 2026
Demo HVACis committed to making this website usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. Accessibility is not a checklist for us — it is part of how we serve our community.
1. Standard we follow
We design and build to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. The U.S. Department of Justice formally adopted WCAG 2.1 AA as the technical standard for state and local government websites under Title II of the ADA in April 2024, and courts in the Eleventh Circuit (which covers Florida) increasingly use the same standard to evaluate Title III commercial sites.
2. What we do
- Author content with semantic HTML, descriptive headings, and visible labels for every form field.
- Maintain at least 4.5:1 contrast for normal text and 3:1 for large text and user-interface components.
- Ensure every interactive element is reachable and operable from a keyboard alone, with a clearly visible focus indicator.
- Provide meaningful alternative text for images that convey information; mark decorative images so assistive technology ignores them.
- Honor
prefers-reduced-motionand reduce or remove non-essential motion for users who request it. - Run automated accessibility checks (axe-core / Lighthouse) on every release and conduct manual reviews quarterly.
3. Known limitations
We work toward full WCAG 2.1 AA conformance and address issues as we find them. Known limitations as of the date above:
- Some embedded third-party content (for example, the Google Maps iframe in our service-area section, or a financing partner portal we link to) is governed by the third-party’s own accessibility posture, which we cannot directly control.
- Hero background video on the homepage is decorative; the content above it is conveyed in text and is not dependent on the video being viewed. Users with
prefers-reduced-motionsee a static poster image instead.
If you encounter a barrier that prevents you from completing a task on this site, please tell us — see Section 5.

5. Reporting accessibility issues
If you find an accessibility barrier on this site, please email accessibility@demohvac.com with:
- The page URL where you encountered the issue.
- A description of the problem and, if you’re comfortable, the assistive technology you were using (screen reader, keyboard navigation, voice control, etc.).

We respond to accessibility reports within 5 business days. When the fix takes longer (for example, a structural change to a page), we will tell you the timeline and offer an alternative way to get the information or service you need in the meantime.
6. Updates
We review this statement at least quarterly and after any material change to the site. The “Last reviewed” date at the top of the page reflects the most recent review.
